More evocative in recitation than in writing, the Qur’aan is only fully the Qur’aan when it is recited. To hear the Qur’aan recited is unlike anything else. It is to experience the power of divine revelation as a shattering voice from the Unseen. It moves, it glides, it soars, it sings. It is in this world, yet not of it.
The book that shook the world is a one day conference dedicated to the speech of Allaah, the Qur’aan. A gathering with world renowned speakers and famous Qurraa’ dedicating themselves to discuss, explore, contemplate and to recite the Qur’aan.
This conference has the potential to change the face of da’wah forever, instilling the love of the Qur’aan in the hearts and souls of all attendees. Indeed, the miraculous words of the Qur’aan are the delight of the eyes, the life of which one who is denied it is dead, the light which the one who loses it is in deep darkness, the healing of which the one who is denied is sick, the joy which the one who is deprived of it lives in distress and pain. The Qur’aan is the spirit of faith and good deeds, by means of which one may draw closer to Allaah, attaining His love and His Mercy.

The Muslim ummah cannot earn the quality of the best community which Allaah describes except holding fast onto the Book of Allaah with resoluteness and having determined submission to everything it brings.
