Shaykh Assim al-Hakeem

Shaykh Assim Al-Hakeem is one of the prominent propagators of Islam in English in Saudi Arabia. He got his B.A in linguistics from King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah on 1987, and later on he had a High diploma in Islamic studies from Umm Al Qura  University in Makkah. Shaykh Assim is active in delivering Islamic programs for the Media in both Arabic & English languages.

Shaykh Jaffar Idrees

Shaykh Jaffar Idrees was born on 15th June 1931 in Port Sudan, Sudan. He grew up in the city of Port Sudan where he completed his elementary and secondary school. In addition to the modern school system, he studied Qur’aan in traditional Qur’aanic schools. He also studied Fiqh, Hadith and Arabic Language under traditional teachers in the city and studied Aqeedah with “Ansar al-Sunnah” group. After that he joined University of Khartoum where he completed his education and traveled to London for postgraduate studies. He has written many articles and research papers and amongst the prominent speakers of Islam in the English language.

Shaykh Haitham al-Haddad

Shaykh Haitham al-Haddad is a London-based Islamic Scholar and a prominent Muslim community leader. He was born and raised in Saudi Arabia and is of Palestinian origin. Shaykh Haitham sits on the board of advisors for a number of key Islamic organisations in the United Kingdom, including the Islamic Sharia Council. He currently holds the position of chair person and operations advisor for the Muslim Research and Development Foundation– a think tank aiming to find solutions based on the original teaching of Islam, for Muslims living in the west (website: www.islam21c.com). He has studied for a number of decades and gained proficiency in many Islamic sciences under the tutelage of world-renowned scholars. Shaykh Haitham is qualified to deliver religious verdicts with a specialization in Islamic Jurisprudence and its principles, Islamic Law and Islamic Finance.

Ustaadh Fraz Farhat

Ustaadh Fraz Farhat was born in Pakistan and grew up in the UK were he currently resides. Ustaadh Fraz graduated from Leeds University in engineering, he then went on to study at the University of Madinah. After completing his arabic studies he went on to graduate in Shariah in the year 2000. Upon returning to the UK he has been teaching Physics at a secondary school in London. He also conducts a number of weekly classes in his local area of South London on Seerah, Tafseer, Fiqh, Usool al-Fiqh & Hadith. In addition to this busy schedule Ustaadh Fraz also appears on Islam channel and as a tutor with a number of other institutes.

Ustaadh Shakeel Baig

Ustaadh Shakeel Baig studied for 5 years at Madinah Islamic University, Saudi Arabia and graduated in the Faculty of Da’wah. He also completed a MA in Islamic Studies from Loughborough University. He is very active in the UK da’wah scene for many years. He is also currently the Imaam of Lewisham and Kent Islamic Centre and a Muslim Chaplin at the GoldSmiths University.

Ustaadh Abu Abdisalam

Abu Abdissalam was born in the central English town of Coventry and was raised in London. Abu Abdisalam joined Dar Al-Hadith Al-Khayriyyah in the blessed city of Makkah and obtained a degree in Islamic Studies specialising in Hadith and it’s Sciences. During the course of his studies he has acquired ijazas for all of the six major books of Hadith. In addition, he also has ijazas for the Sharh of Aqidah Tahawiyyah of Ibn Abdil Izz al-Hanafi and Shaykh Muhammmad Amin al Harari’s Sharh of Muqadimmah of Muslim. He is actively involved in many spheres of Da’wah in the UK and has numerous notable achievements.

Ustaadh Abu Abdillah Yunus

Abu Abdillah is currently a student in the faculty of Shari`ah at the Islamic University of Madinah, KSA. He actively participates in a structured program of traditional learning with a host of reputable scholars from the Prophets City, having studied various texts on a ‘one-to-one’ basis with approval [ijazah] to teach. From amongst the instructors’ main teachers are:

- Shaykh Khalid al-`Afifi
